Genre: Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Psychological
Plot: Yoko Nakajima, an unhappy high school student, is one day suddenly faced with a strange man who swears allegiance to her. After a battle with demon-like beasts, he then takes her to another world along with two of her classmates. There, her appearance has changed and she can understand the language even though her classmates cannot. But their status as “Kaikyaku” (people who come from Earth) makes them hunted fugitives, so they wander the land of the 12 countries, simply trying to survive and to figure out the reason why they were brought to this world.

    Well I know how katrina feels (below), So I think this is some kind of a teaser anime. That means if you want to know how it continues you have to read the books. Thats it, and thats what I am going to do this spring holiday. Book hunting.

    Of all of the anime I’ve seen, this is without a doubt, my favorite animated show. I’ve watched the entire series somewhere around 10 times and have loved every second of it. Wish there were more

    My heart breaks every time I see this title. This anime has absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the best story line of any anime I have ever seen… and also absolutely the worst most unsatisfying ending! Just thinking about it now makes me want to stab my eyes with pencils! Why do they do this to us? It should be against the law! Now don’t get me wrong… I understand the difference between Western storytelling where every little nuisance must be hashed out as opposed to Japanese storytelling where things can be left a bit more ambiguous… But this! This is blatantly unfinished product! Would you buy a 2 legged stool? No! I demand justice!
    Ah… I digress… I’m sorry I went on a bit of a rampage… Bottom line. This is a phenomenal anime sans the missing ending… which hopefully will come one day for the ever so patient fans. Happy Watching!
