Plot: At the age of 14 Shinji Ikari is summoned by his father to the city of Neo Tokyo-3 after several years of separation. There he unwillingly accepts the task of becoming the pilot of a giant robot by the name EVA01 and protect the world from the enigmatic invaders known as “angels.” Even though he repeatedly questions why he has accepted this mission from his estranged and cold father, his doing so helps him to gradually accept himself. However, why exactly are the angels attacking and what are his father’s true intentions are yet to be unraveled.

    honestly, when i first saw these comments i just figured these people were retarded, but now i see the reason for all the frustration. this is an amazing anime, and i highly recommend it, but here’s some advice. before you start the final two episodes, imagine all of your closest friends having a conversation in your head, think up every word they would say, every response they would make. now ask yourself, do you really know enough about each of them to know exactly how every person would react to every statement? that doubt should help you understand what’s going on. and if the reason you’re confused isn’t the discussion on reality and the need for human connections and seperation, but what happened to the plot, then you are in fact retarded, and should just watch The End of Evangelion.

    ok i think my brain is still not working right.. this is the most fucked up thing ive ever seen……….. and i strongly recomend it even thoug your brain may start lagging after episode 24. nah its actualy a really good anime but the end it made me slightly mindfluxed haha=)
