Sentou Yousei Yukikaze chronicles the life of Rei Fukai, an SAF (Special Air Force) pilot assigned to pilot Yukikaze – an advanced reconnaisance fighter plane equipped with a near-sentient A.I. that detects the presence of the JAM within its path.
